About Us
Warm & Golden was founded by Ashlee Freese in the summer of 2022. We knew we wanted to be in the mobile food industry but wanted to set ourselves different from others. Our coffee cart was made by our hands within our community. We strive to be relational with our customers and show the up most best hospitality. W&G is a safe space for those who feel outcasted, misfits, or different. Ashlee has felt out of place her whole life, and tried so hard to be in spaces that didn't feel she was good enough. We understand what it's like to not feel safe and heard, and that's why we want to make a difference and say we hear you, see you, and want to have coffee with you. So when you have us at a party, just know we will treat each person like they are our friends because we care.
Ashlee grew up with her Nanna, Lien, who came over to the states in the early 70's from Vietnam. Lien lived in a small town in Angus, Tx. With there being no Asian products nearby, she would have to stock up on supplies when she went to the Asian markets in Grand Prairie, Tx. She would bring back so many goodies -- one being coffee. This coffee was in a can and it was very sweet. It was called "Mr. Brown", a Taiwanese company. Lien would put Mr. Brown coffee in Ashlee's sippy cup when she was a toddler. This is where the addiction and obsession for coffee began. A little crazy, huh?
Why coffee though?
We’re here to brew and build a connection with our customers and their love for coffee. Warm & Golden Coffee aspires to make an impact through inclusion, community, and diversity. Customers aren’t just getting a cup of coffee, they are getting an experience. Many memories are created from small gestures, and we value the importance of knowing who our customers are and grounding ourselves in their stories and culture all because of our love for coffee. We want to bring people together, share a cup of coffee and work towards our purpose as an emotional driven, community building, woman-owned mobile coffee cart. With our love for community, we are mobilizing our cart to come to a neighborhood event near you.
